Kozák Ádám 12 évesen már sakkmester. A zuglói fiú hat éves kora óta sakkozik, sorra nyeri partijait. Sikeres évet zárt, 2014-ben szinte minden versenyt megnyert, amin részt vett.   Ádám a tavalyi évben a magyar korcsoportos országos egyéni sakkbajnokságon, a rapidbajnokságon és az országos diákolimpián is első lett, a Budapesti Titánok Ifjúsági csapatával – a 18 évesek között- a budapesti és országos csapatbajnokságon is aranyérmet szerzett.
