Anna Muzychuck posted the following words on Facebook:
It was a great time in Israel playing Gideon Japhet Cup and exploring Jerusalem and Dead Sea. Thanks to the organizers for this opportunity - it was actually the strongest tournament I've ever played. Proud to hold 1-1 draw in my mini-matches vs such chess legends as Boris Gelfand, Vassily Ivanchuk, Peter Svidler and Ian Nepomniachtchi. Hope I will get more chances to compete with the world top players in the future. Once again, thanks to the organizers and especially to Gilad Japhet and his family for a splendid event.

Best chess photo of the weekend: Boris Gelfand and Vasily Ivanchuk, at the Gideon Japhet chess tournament in Israel. Two very likable guys in a very colorful pose, captured by Ritvo Photography.

Official Homepage of the Organizer
