Paris Pro-Biz Cup

12 Corporate VIPs will be invited and will be paired with one of the 10 GCT players + GM Gary Kasparov + 1 additional French GM (Etienne Bacrot?). Each team will consist of two players who will alternate moves as in a normal pro-biz. Teams will play in two pools which will consist of 6 teams each. Each team will hence play 5 games in total. The time control for all games will be 3 min + 2 sec per move. No consultation will be allowed during games. The winners of each pool will play a final for the title. The final’s match will take the form of a bughouse blitz match which can’t be broadcast. All other games will be regular tandem chess with players alternating moves on a single board.

Etienne Bacrot & Dana Reizniece-Ozola won the Pro-Biz Cup
